Ms. Rysha is a versatile management professional with a background in finance, business administration, marketing communications and community engagement. Having involved in various roles in different industries ranging from finance and branding to education and community engagement, she's now looking to sharpen my skills through international exposure. She's also deeply interested in exploring new cultures and social environments which will help not just her grow as a person. Coming to Chelyabinsk is definitely one of the best life decisions she's made and she cherishes every moment of it. WORK PLAN

Week 1:

INTRODUCTION: A SNEAK-PEEK INTO THE LIFE AND CULTURE OF INDIA

Aim: In the first week, the students will be given an introduction to Indian culture and lifestyle. The exercise is aimed at exposing students to cultural differences that exist in different parts of the world. It will help them appreciate others’ viewpoints as well as value their own uniqueness.

·         Understanding the differences between India and Russia

·         Global Citizenship and Cultural Exchange

PRIMARY – FAIRYTALES AND CARTOONS

Aim: Debating is an effective mode of communication which enables students to analyze a problem from multiple angles and put across their viewpoints in a convincing manner. Students will take part in group discussions on various topics, helping them to hone their language skills. The primary students will be taken through the magical world of fairy tales and cartoons. Besides being a visual treat, this exercise will help them learn new words and get introduced to imaginary characters.

·         Study material and pointers for discussions

·         Home task – essay writing on the topics

·         Primary Students can make cartoons to be displayed on the notice board

 

Week 3:

HIGHER CLASSES – PUBLIC SPEAKING

PRIMARY – NURSERY RHYMES / RECITATIONS

Aim: This week is dedicated to speaking exercises. All activities will be targeted at encouraging students to speak fluently and fearlessly. The higher classes will get an exposure to the art of public speaking while the primary students will be trained in rhymes and recitations.

·         Preparing text for the speech

·         Topics to be given well in advance

·         Videos will be made

 

Week 4:

FUN WITH GAMES

Aim: Word games make learning English more fun and interesting. They also encourage healthy competition and interpersonal communication. Students can play them even outside class and improve their language skills on a continuous basis.

·         A variety of word games will be played and the results will be displayed on the notice board

·         Develop a love of language

 

 Week 5:

ROLE-PLAYS AND SKITS

Aim: In the fifth week, the students will perform a drama/skit/role play based on any of the stories discussed in class. Memorizing and rendering dialogues can improve their voice modulation and articulation.

·         Public performance by the students

·         Help students overcome stage fright and speak in English on a public platform

 

Week 6:

PREPARATION FOR THE FINAL PROJECT

Aim: The final projects will be discussed in detail and the students will be supported with all relevant information and tips for doing it in the best way. It will also be a wrap-up session where the topics covered until then, will be revised.

·         Take feedback from the students

·         Students can ask questions and clear their doubts

 

Week 7:

FINAL PROJECT

Aim: In the last week, the students are expected to submit and present their final project. These will be recorded for documentation purposes.

·         Present any literary/visual/musical/dance work based on the various themes discussed about India

·         Encourage creativity and freedom of expression
